cat food

Oh, so funny... I got to daycare yesterday and LA told me that she thinks E had eaten a piece of cat food... I said, oh well, she's probably gonna eat a lot more yucky stuff in her next couple years... well, as I'm holding E and we are talking, I notice she's kinda moving something around in her mouth... yup, the piece of cat food. Apparently she just wanted to suck on it for a while. It was totally soggy and smelled gross, but she was more mad at me for taking it out of her mouth than anythings else... I guess she likes cat food. Meow.

What a weekend!

It has been a beautiful weekend! The weather was SO nice... I am so happy it is warming up outside so we can get E out of the house and exploring the outdoors! Yesterday we had her out on the ground for the first time... at first she cried a bit... she didn't like the grass or the cement, but after a few minutes she wouldn't stop skimming her hands across the grass, it has funny.
G worked Friday night, when he woke up Saturday a.m. we went out to a late lunch w/ my family for my grandparents 59th wedding anniversary. It was really nice... and on such a late notice... my mom called me at 10:45 that morning and E and I were at Walmart in R... so to say the least we booked it home, bathed, got G up, and made it north of RW by 1 p.m. Pretty good if you ask me. Here is one (horrible, sorry dad) picture of all the girls... and E's little buddy S... and miss LA who didn't even turn around for the pic!!!!!!!!
Still happy after 59 years!!!! WOW, that is a long time good job grandma and gramps!!!!! After lunch G and I drove around RW for almost 2 hours looking at houses for sale... we found a few we like, but are not sure we want to go to all the trouble... we like our house and its location, especially for E as she gets older... the school is excellent here... the only thing we both complain about is the convenience... there is NONE... we are 10 miles from the nearest grocery store or gas station... I'm not used to that at all... growing up in RW. G is a bit more used to that since he grew up outside of town... but even he doesn't like it right now... we can't just go to a movie, run to the store when we are out of milk, decide we want pizza, etc... so we'll see.

We were so tired last night we put E to bed around 7:15 and we were both in bed by 8:30... wow, what an exciting Saturday night we lead!!

This morning G let me sleep in!!!!! It has been months since I've been able to do that! They didn't come up and get me until almost 8:00!! That was wonderful, especially when E is up everyday between 5:45 and 6:15!

E laid down for a nap right about the time I got up so G and I started to get garage sale stuff together... we don't have as much to sell this year... we got rid of lots of stuff we didn't use last year... Its kinda nice to have the feeling of a clean orderly simple house... not a lot of junk in the basement or extra bedroom (which we have always had)... I figure if I have had it in the basement since last years garage sale, thinking "no I can't sell that I'll use it" and I haven't yet, then its going in this garage sale! We aren't selling any baby stuff either, except maybe a swing I bought at a garage sale and a few other toys I got at a garage sale... we are hoping for another little Cammie (sorry Kt, G LOVES this name!!??!?!?!), Aubrey, or Ethan w/ in the next 2 years, so we'll hang on to everything.

When E woke up we all sat in the living room and had a yummy lunch... and the I decided it was time to get E dressed up in her Easter dress, like I promised... so here ya go...

Not quite the same effect as if it were actually Easter Sunday... but at least I got a few... the shoes I bought her to wear didn't even fit her, they were to big... shoulda tried them on BEFORE Eater morning :) so she wore white tights and pink kitty slippers.

Oh, yeah, she says Kitty! it sounds like diddy, but we know she means kitty cause she says it whenever she pounces on Max's back and pulls wad of his hair out... and you all know Max... he is grumpy, grouchy and testy... yet he allows her to pull and hit, this amazes us! She also loves our cat Callie, Callie will actually play with her, they bat their hands/paws back and forth at each other... I got a few pics the other day... she giggles histarically and it cracks us up! Our other cat Mae, pretty much chooses to stay away from her... Well, the weekend again has almost come to a close (I hate it!) I already am looking forward to next weekend and the next and the next... G is so good at getting great pics of E... this is our new favorite pic of her...

p.s. E turned 11 months old on Friday!! One more month till she's 1!!!!

easter sunday

Ok, so you are all going to kill me... I forgot my camera yesterday!!! God I was upset... and by the time we got home at noon she was over 3 hours past due for her first nap of the day, so pictures were not on her agenda. I promise that next weekend when I am off I will dress her up again and take pics. It was a pretty uneventful day... got up at 5, left for church at 7:15, went to Perkins w/ my parents after church and then to visit my grandparent at the nursing home. G had to work so he was sleeping that morning, Kt was working and S was w/ his family... so it was just the 4 of us... the most exciting thing that happened is that we ran into my cousin and her family at the nursing home. She had her husband and their 2 girls along... they had brought a Little Tikes kitchen that was Ash's (she's now a big grown up 4 year old and doesn't play kitchen any more!) Well to say the least, E has pretty much played w/ nothing else since we've come home...

So, what else is new??? Well, it is going to snow tomorrow, what is up w/ that?! 3-7 inches I just heard them say on the news... ridiculous if you ask me... I should have my windows open by now!

Work is work, still would rather be home w/ E. I pretty much live for the weekends! But then I guess who doesn't...

We just found out today the G has a brand new baby cousin named Emmy Lyn (such a cute name!)

E has been accident prone the last few days... bumps her head on every corner possible, bites her tongue, hits her mouth on the corner of a chair and bleeds... I realize now that she is on the move she is going to do this but geez...

One of her new favorite things to do is push the buttons on the tv... daddy doesn't like it so much ;)

Oh my god, right now I have wheel of fortune on and every time they show the audience clapping she claps along w/ them... cracks me up.
