Good afternoon everyone... or good morning really since I just got out of bed an hour ago! Last night we had our 10 year high school reunion and oh my god was it interesting. It was a bit uncomfortable at times, with everyone sizing each other up, wanting to see who's changed, who looks the same, who looks better... it was a bit weird for all of us I think. So as usual my crew of girlfriends pretty much stuck together. Which was just fine with us. We mingled out of the group in the beginning for a bit, then kinda came together for the rest of the night on the outside patio, which was beautiful. Then we headed out to one of our favorite bars and I had a few yummy apple-tinis... then my friend Megan bought us all shots and I was a gonner. When I came to, I was partying at our local town festival's beer tent. Might I remind you that this was the first time I'd been out drinking in over a year... since before I was pregnant with E. I had a blast. But don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon...(althought to my complete surprise this a.m. I was not the least bit hung over, which I cannot believe!) getting to bed at 2:30 and then having to be up at 4 and 6:20 with a hungry 3 month old isn't the most pleasent thing to do after a few to many. But I managed and soon realized that what E needs from me is SO much more important than my going out and drinking. Geez, what having a baby does to your priorities!

So anywho... today we are having a family day. Staying home for the entire day, enjoying each others company and relaxing. E is napping right now, G is watching racing and I just had some lunch and am going to bake some chocolate chip cookies.
