Happy September 1st everyone! Ok, as you all know I work at a gift shop in RW. Well the other day I went to work after being off for a few days and noticed this little angel with a hat on... rather cute if you just glance at it... but then I read it and could not stop laughing! I'll post a picture of it and you can decide for yourselves if you think it is funny. Guess I may just have a dirty mind. J- I thought you could at least show the girls at work a picture since I don't think there are anymore...
So it is September already, god I can't believe the summer is gone and E is already almost 4 months old. It really does go that fast! We are both off fri, sat and sun this weekend... which is nice for once, to have a few days off together. Today we went into town to for some groceries and for a chiropractic appointment for me. I hurt my back lifting a WAY to heavy box at work on Monday... obviously with my back and not my legs. So Dr. A did a little work on me it hurt and it still hurts... she wants to see me a few times a week for the next two weeks... hopefully out of the boss's wallet... we'll see.
Today G decided to pay the whopping $2 city charge and run for city council. Since we live in such a HUGE town and he has no competition there really is no "running". But the mayor came over this a.m. and just happened to mention there was still a spot open so G decided he'd like to get involved and maybe help to change some of the things we don't like that go on around here. It'll be nice to, to have him involved since EVERYONE here is related to each other, so getting some new blood in there will be good for us all. It should be an interesting year!

This a.m. E and I were sitting on the couch and she is starting to be really aware of the cats and Max jumped up by us and she reached out and grabbed a handful of his hair. He (as most of you know) is a big old cranky grump. But with E he is so patient and calm, it's kinda weird. She didn't let go and pulled a huge clump of his hair out and he didn't make a peep! I couldn't believe it. I'd been so worried about how they would react to her, but so far so good. Mae and Callie are a bit more fearful of her, so they tend to stay away. Here's our other babies...
Ok, well time for me to have some alone time, G and E are sleeping and I'm going to read and relax for a bit before I go to bed. Night and take care, K
