E had her 9 month check up today. Hates the dr. Hates the table in the room even more. She screams the entire time... and all he is doing is checking her lungs, heart, stomach, ears, nose and throat... this should be a fun life of dr appt's for G and I, w/ E. Turns out she has an ear infection now... got some antibiotics... hope it takes it away. She hasn't been doing anything to give us any indication of a hurting ear. So I'm hoping she hasn't even realized it yet... maybe it isn't even bothering her??! Then we had to get her finger pricked to check her hemaglobin and something else (I can't remember) she didn't react to the initial poke, but then the squeezing that happened afterwards bothered her... she definitely let us know that! She has gained the weight back that she lost during the last few weeks... she now weighs 18 lbs 6 oz. Almost time for a new car seat!! She ranks in the 50th percentile for height and weight and in the 95th for the size of her head, thanks daddy ;)
Cats are driving me crazy... puke on the living room floor this a.m. and on the blanket on the couch... thank god for the blanket or it would've been on the couch... oh and I woulda been P O'd. Just when you think you've had enough Mae goes and cracks me up... I was picking up E's toys and had an extra empty basket... I put it on the dining room table and then next time I turned around she was sitting in it... made me laugh.
Work is going ok... I just can't wait until I've been there longer and understand and know the position better. It is really hard to have such a little amount of training, but be expected to know what the hell you are doing anyway. That sucks. I really miss looking forward to going to work everyday, I know I will eventually... just not there yet. Enjoying your job is so important for a persons overall well being! Thankfully I work w/ some real fun ladies, who I like and get along w/ real well. I really shouldn't complain... the benefits we get from this position are well worth a little bit of unhappiness... many people aren't as lucky as we are w/ the benefits we have... so I will just keep pushen through and looking forward to Friday's!!
Well, E is taking a nap (finally!) I'm gonna sit down and read a book for hopefully and hour... here are a couple more pics... from her bath last night and w/ her new fav toy Mr. Worm. Take care and hope you are all having a wonderful Monday... only 4 more days til Friday!!! Yah!!
