Coolin Off!

Oh my, it was SOOOOOOOO very hot and humid out on Sunday... we had a birthday party to attend for my 4 year old goddaughter at the park... fun, but it was so warm!! That morning my mom called and asked if we'd wanna go to the pool. Well, it worked out perfect that the birthday party was at the park where the pool is! So we went to the party... appropriately we gave Ash a fun hook-up-to-the-hose Backyardigans sprinkler and a cute flip flop beach towel. After the festivities we went to the pool. I wasn't sure how E would like it. She loves taking a bath, but this was different. They don't have a kiddie pool, so there are lots of big kids running and splashing... but she absolutely LOVED it! Every hour they have to take a 5 minute break... and during those breaks we'd have to hold on to her because she'd keep trying to crawl back to the water! It was great... we had a lot of fun and stayed cool on such a muggy day. Here's a few pics...
