Advice Needed

What time is an acceptable time for a 2 (almost 3) year old to go to bed?

I'm thinking about going private.  Anyone have an opinion on that?  Denise?  I know you've gone private... I have so much more to say than I really let out here... but just don't know for sure who is reading... ya know?  I don't feel like you guys are getting the "real" me all the time and you certainly aren't getting the details of all the "stuff" that really goes on in my life... I just don't know... I feel like it is harder to get new readers when you go private.  I'm always hesitant to ask a private blog if I can come in and visit... what to do, what to do?  Opinions please!  I could always start a new blog... one that no one knows about in real life and email you internet friends and give you the address... oh hell... I don't know.

Define acceptable. :-). Ava goes to bed anywhere from 8:30 - 10:30, but since I don't work I don't always enforce it. She doesn't nap anymore and if she sleeps I don't complain! I'd love to still follow if you go the private route.

I say, start a new blog and let us all know.

acceptable bed time is whenever mommy needs a break. ha! mine go anywhere from 830-10:00.

and yes...he pulled every damn post it out one at a time. the worst part is i heard the noise but didn't put the two together...grrrr!

Emma (and Jackson) go to bed every night at 7pm. And they sleep until btwn 7-9am. They nap (although I use that term loosely for Emma) btwn 1-3 pm.

My youngest goes to bed around 7:30/8pm, he will be 4 on his birthday. But he gets up at about 6am so he is ready for his bed early! (so am i!)

If you start a private blog ~ i'd still like to follow you!

Love,
Amanda x

Think about bed time not in terms of what time is appropriate but how much sleep does she need and how long can she sleep until it's important to get up. Consistency and how much are most important.

Find a place you are comfortable with and vent. You've done it in the past. You won't attract new readers on a private blog. What do I know, I have 4 blogs.

Hey, go private girl, but dont forget to let me in...Im faithful! And who cares about the new readers, its the ones who already love you who can handle the itches and scratches and constipation!! :)

I'd agree that consistency and amount of sleep are probably more important than times. Heck, if I was a slave to the clock I'd be more silver in the hair than I already am!

Hey I totally totally go with what time H has to get up in the morning. I like her to get abt. 10 to 12 hr. of sleep and plan according to that. But she sooo doesnt take naps anymore either.

I put Porgie to bed at 8:30 every night - but that doesn't mean she falls asleep at 8:30. Sometimes she plays in her crib until 10 pm.

I want the gossip! Start a new blog and email us the address.

I just saw the email and invite. I think private is good. I really do. There are so many times I want to go completely private...but that is why I have the private blog. I am able to censor what I need to and still get off my chest what is needed.

I did private for a while, you don't get new readers and you still don't know who reads because half the heffers don't even comment.

Plst.

Anyways, I'll read. I always do. I am not worried, you will open up what you want to open.

What about another maybe blog with more private choice stuff for specific people? I get what you mean though...
