this is why i ebay

I've been wanting one of these diapering kits. SO BAD. But I've seen them retail for anywhere between $138-$146 and didn't want to spend that much $$ right now all in one shot. I realize this much money would be eaten up in disposable diapers within a couple months... etc, etc. But since I quit working things have been tight and it is easier to spend $48 a month on diapers vs. $145 in one shot. But... but... while searching for cloth diaper accessories last night on Ebay I came upon this exact set for sale from a mom in WI who wanted to try cloth but after receiving this she decided disposables were much easier. I snapped this up so fast I barely thought twice about it... she had a buy it now price of $75!!!!!!!!!! GO ME!! I'm so excited to get it! It contains 36 unbleached cotton prefolds, 6 small Bummis Super Whisper Wraps, 1 roll of flushable liners and a user guide. That should be enough supplies for 3 days of diapering... so I'll be washing 1-2 loads of the prefolds (and the wraps if they are dirty) every 3rd day.

So I've pretty much gotten my first 9-12 months of diapers for $75 people!! Oh and I did previously buy 2 infant size covers for $12 each... so for under $100 I've gotten what I need to start out!! I will have some other accessories to buy - cloth wipes, a few cotton doublers, disposable liners, a couple wet bags, a few medium covers and I may need more of the cotton prefolds... and since these are small size I may need a few more infant size if we have an itty bitty boy.

I love, love, love Ebay! :)

p.s. I've been watching my feed and am dying to know who is visiting from Ellsworth, WI? Please delurk! Leave me a message. I can usually tell who is visiting based on the city that comes up and if I know of someone who lives close by... but this one has me stumped. Who are you? If you don't want to delurk on my blog send me an email!!

Great deal! I am so happy you are going to give cloth diapering a try. And if one brand/system doesnt work for you, keep trying.
