today

What a day it's been. Coop was up at 5:20 (!) we got up, I made him toast and cut up a banana and worked a bit. Then by 7 he was ready to go back to bed which worked out perfectly because I was able to take a shower and get ready before having to take Ellie to preschool.

After we took Ellie to school, Coop and I went for a walk to see all the high water in our area. Then we walked to the eye glass store and I ordered me some new glasses! I can't wait to get them they are so super cute! And finally we made our way to get me my drink of choice, an iced vanilla latte and headed to work. I was working (haha, chit chatting with one of my staff) so hard that I wasn't paying attention to the time and I got paged to pick up my daughter at preschool. What a terrible mom I am! The poor thing was sitting on a mat all by herself waiting for me. :( The second I heard the page I went OMG! I FORGOT TO PICK UP ELLIE!!! and bolted for the preschool (which is in the same building I work in.) I guess it didn't phase her at all. She had a little friend there waiting with her mom until I got there, which I thought was so sweet of them to do! I was totally embarrassed... apologized to her teachers and left.

Soon we head to Ellie's first night of gymnastics... oh my, it has been a long day and it isn't even close to over yet! I feel like a chauffeur!

Today has been a gorgeous day. Beautiful blue sky and temps near 70. Nice for October! Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. I am taking the day off and I can't wait! As a matter of fact I will be doing nothing buy hanging with the kids and having at least one, maybe 2, pj days before Monday. I plan to do a whole lot of nothing this weekend!
