auntie Kt
And for some stupid reason that I can't explain, I have zero pictures of auntie Becca with Ellie!!! What were we thinking Becca??? We'll for sure get some when we come up in 2 weeks. (vacation on it's way... cannot wait!)
After the pool we went home and Greg brought home some Fiesta Mexicana! Oh num. Becca and I shared a supremo burrito and Greg had his usual chicken fajitas. I really have to get better at attaching my camera to my hip so I take pictures of everything, including what we are eating, as I love seeing that on other blogs... especially alfred's mom and girl from florida (which reminds me, go look at gff's entry dated 7/14/08 and get a load of that fish! ewww!)
After dinner I decided to do this:
I never get the exact "look" I am going for. I wanted the dull-straight brown color on the box. Instead I got that straight brown color with a hint of red. I want to get this red out of my hair! It just must naturally be in there and that is why I always end up some hue with a tint of red.
Now today, Ellie and I have been doing loads of this:
and loads of laundry and it's been nice and relaxing!
**In other news:
Greg applied for a new job. Will divulge more details if/when I can.
I have been offered a new job. Unsure yet what I think about it and need to hash out a few details like pay/hours/etc... will go into it more if I decide to go with it! I will say that it is a place I've worked at in the past and they've asked me to come back.
I have applied for 2 other jobs.
One as a health educator for another county near us. Would involve changing daycare, driving 30 minutes to and from work, but I'm make over $8 more an hour!
Another for an admin assistant in a nearby school. A small school that includes grades K-12 in one building... and it is where Ellie (and our future children) would attend if we continue to live where we are. I would love to be where she is everyday (I'm sure she will just LOVE that!) and have summers/school holidays off when she does. The pay won't be as high as the educator position, but having school hours, being there with my kids and having summers off sounds like a great deal to me! I would only be driving about 5 miles and we would also have to change daycare.
If I don't get offered/decide to take any of these jobs things will be fine. I know I used to complain a lot about my job... don't get me wrong... it is still BAD, but I will deal with it if I have to for Greg and Ellie. It pays shit, I have enough work today to last for about 30 days and I work with some real caring nice people (sense the sarcasm)... but what this job does do for us is saves us $370 a month. Because Greg and I both work for the same place we get free health coverage for our entire family. Free meaning that the monthly family premium of $370 is paid for. But let me tell you, that may sound great, until you hear that we have a $4400 family deductible on top of that $370 a month... now you see why we need to get that $370 paid for!! Bottom line is that any job that comes along has to offer me more pay to cover that premium or has to offer a kick ass medical plan. I'm praying for both!

(i have to post as anonymous to get it to display, all this time i've figured it out)
We pay almost $500 per month for health insurance! It is INSANE. However, our family deductible is only $900.
Good luck on the job front! That deductible is absolutely ridiculous!!! I've never heard of such a thing.
I actually love your hair...I think it looks great!
The pic of you and Ellie at the pool is the CUTEST EVER! I love your new hair color! Ohh laa laa a job at a school! I say go for it! Yo won't believe how summer's off makes mommy a nicer woman! Plus you are RIGHT THERE for her younger years in school..I love bing in the same building as K...well most the time..=) Good luck!
Sounds like you had a great time with Becca!
I like your hair colour, it suits you:)
Good luck to both of you with the interviews. Fingers crossed!
I love the picture of you two in the pool...that is so cute!! I'm glad you guys had a good weekend. I'm so tempted to try doing my hair at home; I have a stylist that I love but I am sick of having to go every 6-8 weeks (30 miles away), not too mention the price I have to pay. Have you ever tried at-home highlights?
Best of luck with the job situation, too!
That first picture of you and Ellie is STUNNING. You look gorgeous. It's a definite framer.
The pool is my saving grace this summer!
I love the new hair color. Hint of red is GOOD!
Good luck with the job dilemma.
