my 1/3 life crisis
So, I turned 30 today and have been having a hard time with it. I have all out sobbed and bawled my eyes out at least 3 different times... and a few other times I've just come close to tears. I don't really know why. I just have really had a good time in my 20's and maybe am mourning their departure. Sounds lame I know. Everyone keeps telling me, "it's just a number", "it's just another day", "be happy that you're alive to see another day"... blah, blah, blah. I know I'll get over it... I just need a couple days. Happy freaking birthday to me, huh.

Honey, I believe that my 20's were awesome as well, and that the 30's will be even better. I know who I am more now than 5 yrs. ago. We will continue to grow and learn every year, and I am just glad to have friends like you in this journey with me!!

I turned 30 in February and it was very bittersweet. I know I should be (and I am) grateful to have had these 30 years but 30 just really felt like the end of an era to me. And, really, I don't feel any different than I did when I was 25 but it's just when I sit and think of thirty years and how when I was a little girl I would imagine what I'd be like at 30 and BAM! here I am...I guess I am just scared that the next 30 (if I am lucky to have them) will fly by just as fast.
I hate to be Debbie Downer but just wanted you to know you weren't alone in your feelings! Let's do our best to prove that the 30's are better than the 20's!!!

happy belated birthday hopefully your card will be in the mail this week. I'm hoping my 30s will be better than the 20s tho i did have some great times! By then i hope to have found myself. sometimes 20s arent all their cracked up to be!

Happy belated birthday, old lady! I'll hit my 30th in December and I am making everyone wear black that day. It is the death of my youth.
