Brittany is beautiful (hair, makeup, body, dress) and did a great job opening the show...

Whoa Mr. Brand... he went there... talked about Palin, her daughter and the poor boy who knocked her daughter up... yikes... called the prez a "texas retard"... double yikes... asked the audience to vote for Obama... wow, I just sometimes think there is a time and a place for politics... was the VMA's the right place? Not so sure it was... I'm totally a liberal feminist democrat if you haven't figured it out yet (duh!) but that was a bit out of line in my opinion!

OK...I didn't watch, but I did look at the pictures online. That counts, right?
- Britney really did look beautiful. Most tabloid pics I see of her don't look too hot, so I wasn't expecting much. I'm glad she's gotten her crap back together.
- I think the VMAs definitely aren't the right place to spout out political nonsense. Comments like that aren't really good for the either side. Not to mention that when you disagree with the other side and want to be vocal about it, there's a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it. Russell Brand's way only made him look like a dummy who doesn't really know anything about the issues, so he just grasped at stuff like Palin's daughter being pregnant...stuff that doesn't have much effect in the long run, if any. So...maybe Bush does come off as kind of a "Texas retard", and I don't think anyone would argue that his performance as president has been pretty bad..ok, terrible...but in my opinion you kind of have to be respectful to the president no matter who he/she is or how much you disagree with him/her. I can easily talk about all the things I've been unhappy with him about and still come off as respectful. However...this was all coming from someone who isn't even an American...so I doubt anyone took him too seriously anyway.
- Heidi and Spencer gross me out more than I can tell you...especialy him. Yuck.
I never know who any of those people are anymore, either. The other day I tried to indulge in a celebrity magazine and it was so boring since I didn't know who half the people were.
I was passed out on Nyquil...missed it...I LOATHE Spencer..why do I still watch the hills...obviously most of it is staged since they have to be Miked to hear anything...addictions have no reason...PS did you see the article in People about NKOTB?
