Oh, it's been a busy week. I can't even remember what I did on Monday. Worked obviously... then must have come home after work. Tuesday Ellie and I met Tanya, Hunter, Jess and Nora at the park for dinner. Then we went back to Tanya's house so the girls could play and Tanya could give me a haircut. Which I needed so bad (and I love it! thanks T!). Wednesday I got to skip work and attend a workshop. It kicked ass and everyone in my office should have been there... there is much needed sensitivity training to other cultures/economic status levels in our office. I'm not gonna lie, it is a HARD place to work. I want to give my 2 week notice daily. I'm pretty much looking for something new 24/7. That job offer I mentioned a couple posts ago... there was miscommunication... she doesn't need me until January! (crap!)
Anywho... back to my week... after the workshop I headed home. Greg wanted to go to the county fair so we headed out there. We ate dinner at the 4-H building, went
thru the children's petting barn. Ellie loved the little baby chicks... they were just darling. She like the bunnies too and when we went into the cow barn she covered her nose which just cracks me up... she says, "oh, oh, nose!" Like she thinks there is something wrong with her nose. She wouldn't even step foot in the pig barn! So that brings us to tonight. We went to my parents for dinner and to plan out food for our vacation next week. Vacation. Alleluia! Praise the Lord. One entire week away from work! So tonight my BIL made an awesome dinner... steak sandwiches with lettuce, cheese and homemade spicy
chipoltle sauce, asparagus, salmon on the grill and macaroni salad. SO GOOD!
Now I'll tell ya, I'm procrastinating horribly. We leave on Sunday morning for vacation (a cabin in Northern WI that we rent every year) and I have packed nothing. Nothing! Greg is of course packed. So he told me today. He's packed. Well I'd be packed to if all I had to pack was a bag for myself. Seriously. I on the other hand have to pack for myself, Ellie, kitchen stuff, food, bathroom supplies including shower stuff, makeup, towels, toys, beach stuff, pillows, bedding, outdoor supplies, camera, cell phone chargers, lawn chairs, books, oh and probably about a million other things that I'm forgetting. I have lots of work to do. I will be spending all day Saturday doing laundry and packing up the truck. Why not tomorrow night you ask? Well tomorrow night I am going to see the New Kids on the Block at the Mall of America!!! I am SO excited I can hardly stand it. I am going to be jumping up and down and shrieking like a 15 year old when I see them. I *heart* Joey! OMG! I can't wait!
Ok, it is 11 and I am tired. I need to get to bed. Sweet dreams.
Sorry for this random rambling post!

Have fun tomorrow night, I know OhCountess is as excited as you are to see them! Just remember, she's been in her 30's for a while, so go easy on her. Too bad I'm not making tomato soup and grilled cheese all neatly displayed on a plate for you :-D
Have a great time at the concert! I would love to see them. I was a huge Joey fan too and i was going to marry him! hahaha!
Have a great holiday!
I'm so jealous!!! I wanted to see NKOTB so badly. Unfortunately, they're not making their way south until late Sept./early Oct., and I will either be taking care of two babies or in a hugely pregnant state, so I'm going to miss it. I'm so bummed!
have a GREAt vacation! i know you have been looking SOOO forward to it! =)
Have fun with Joey tonight!!! I know how oyu feel about packing..J walks out of the house looking all spiff and I have 10 bags hanging off me and then HE ALWAYS is the one who has to run back in because he forgot something!
