Saturday mornings...

It is currently 8:05, Ellie has been up for over an hour, she's eaten breakfest, had a bottle, I've done 2 loads of laundry, dishes and am now blogging... if I get nothing else done today I'll be ok with that... I've already put in enough work, almost before 8 a.m.

Today we have a packed day of plans. I'm waiting for my hair salon to hopefully call me with a cancellation so I can get in... I need a haircut SUPER bad, haven't had one in over 6 months! E and I have lots of grocery shopping to do, we are going to beebop around downtown for a bit, buy a tanning package, stop and pay the tax guy, get the car washed, buy a few birthday gifts, maybe stop in at my old place of employment and look around... its been a while since I've taken the time to do that! The we are meeting my aunt C at 1 at my fav coffee shop downtown. G is going to the big city to the south with his buddy B today, B is getting a tattoo. Yup, G might get one to... he wants E's name on him somewhere... not really sure yet. We'll see what he comes home with. I know he's thinking about getting it on the inside of his wrist.

Then later this evening G and I are hoping to go out to the Jim for a few glasses of wine. Maybe a green beer or two for G... that is if we have a sitter.

We bought a new car seat this week. After buying it I realized it isn't one that E can even be in until she is 1 year old and 20 lb. We're close in the weight category, but have about 2 months til she's 1. It isn't a rear-facing seat and that is what the law says is safest for a baby under 12 months and 20 lbs... so we have this fancy schmancy new seat that we couldn't wait to get... and now we have to wait 2 more months. Oh well... I'm sure it'll be here before we know it. Or maybe we'll just cheat and use it a bit early??
