Her temp got up to 104.3! That freaked me out a bit but alternating tyl.enol and mo.trin have kept it down since about 2 pm. What scared me even more is that she had the puffies red eyes. I thought for a while she may have pink eye. She looked miserable. She wouldn't nap, ate normally and played normally. Go figure. We couldn't even get an appointment at the clinic today! They were full! We were going to go to urgent care which is open from 5-9... but her temp kept going down so we thought we'd give it a go at home and see if we should go in in the morning. She finally did fall asleep at 4ish and slept til 6:15... we had some dinner and now she is back in bed... (I started this entry hours ago, it is now 8:50).
It is really nice. 4wd would be super nice out in the sticks of no-ville where we live. The gas mileage is a hair worse than what we are getting in our 2000 minivan and it has a sun-roof! Oh how spoiled I will feel!!! :) We are waiting to hear if we can get it with the payment we need. Keep your fingers crossed! I really want it! I would feel so safe in all this snowy weather we've had this winter.

Please don't think I was dissing daycare in general. I just think when it gets really cold outside, some places turn up the heat too high...which is like an incubator for germs. It's not as if Lila never gets sick; we're around too many kids for her not to get sick once in a while. It just seems to be a trend for poor little E, but it's not as if switching daycares would necessarily help, so lets hope that the building her immune system theory works.
I guess my car salesman was correct about the blind spot. I didn't really doubt him since he knew his honesty could potentially cost him a sale, but it's good to hear someone else say that for future reference. I like the TrailBlazer. I wonder what kind of gas mileage it gets.
Oh no! I don't think you were dissing daycare at all!! I've never thought about them turning the heat up either... that was a good point. Her temp got up to 105.6 today and I freaked out and we went to the ER. They can't say anything is wrong except for a virus. Damn virus.
We are not buying the trailblazer. They cannot offer us a price/payement that will work for us so we are no longer looking at this one. Which is a BUMMER! Cause I really loved it. REALLY loved it. It would have been safer for me and E and that is the most important thing.
The gas mileage isn't a whole lot worse than our van. I think about 17-21 highway miles... which is what I drive a majority of the time.
