PO'd

Good thing I didn't post this last night or I would have probably regretted what I had to say... well, maybe.

10 minutes to 10 last night our phone rings.  It's Greg's work.  A-holes.  Of course since they have no system figured out for backup/replacement workers they are calling him to come into work.  He f'ing called in at 8:30 a.m. that morning and told them me and Ellie were sick and he was going to stay home with us!  The shift didn't start until 6!  PLENTY of time to get your shit together and call in someone.  I am lying in bed sick, Ellie is up in her bed sick... Greg has already gone to tend to her twice since she went to bed at 8:30... we figured the night would go like Thursday night for her when the two of us were at my parents... up constantly.  Greg was going to take over Ellie duty last night so I could get some sleep... until the a-holes called.  

I'm still pissed and it's already over.  

So through gritted teeth Greg goes to work at 11 pm.  He worked until 6 am.  Since he didn't plan to work overnight last night he didn't sleep at all during the day.  So in total, since Wednesday morning Greg has had 3 hours of sleep overnight on Thursday night while Ellie and I were gone.  Then he intended to sleep last night... but nope... had to go to work.  

They just seem to have NO consideration for anyone else.  No consideration for sick children. They've even had the gall to ask Greg why the grandparents couldn't watch her!  (not last night but another time)  Like HELLO, because it isn't their responsibility to watch MY SICK KID YOU A-HOLES!!!!!!!!!!!
