Conversations with Ellie

In the mornings before we leave the house Ellie and I will sometimes walk outside and look at the sky talking about what kind of day it is going to be weather wise, we'll look at the birds eating in the neighbors yard, look for snow :(, etc... this morning we did just that.

There were all sorts of birds out and they were chirping LOUD this morning.

Ellie looks at me and says: "mommy they want a treat!"

I said: "they want a treat?"

She responds with: "yes! can't you here them, treat, treat, treat, treat!"  (tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet)

I have had a grand old time sharing that story with everyone I see today.  Her little mind amazes me!  :)
