Yet another fine day

Hello all!! Well it has been a long, long time since I have posted on here.....ok so I have not posted personally since I started the blog last year. Usually it is K that posts everything because she has kind of taken over and loves doing it. But, I am home with a sick little E and I thought I would post just for fun.

E is actually doing better today and has not been bad. She went to the ER yesterday after another long night of no sleep (for mom or dad either) and a long day of sick. The doc determined that E has an ear infection and gave us Amoxicilin to help cure it up. So K's dad got us the meds today and also got some liquid sudifed stuff and ran it out to me this AM so that E could start taking it right away. That man is simply amazing! He had to get going right away so that he could get back to work, but offered to come all the way back out if I needed a break from a whiney girl. That was a great offer and I would have taken him up on it if E had been like she was the last couple days. I am not known for my patience and I am greatfull that K got a lot of it from her dad.

Other than that nothing else is new. Oh wait, I guess there is some news on my side of things. I have been complaining to K that I am tired of being overweight and that my clothes no longer fit like they used to. I used to run with my freind B in town and we even did a half marathon. We both got busy with jobs and life and had gotten away from running. Well I had a sit down with B last week and we have decided to start running again since we are both sick of being lard butts!! At any rate we have also decided to make the commitment that in the fall of '08 we are going to run a FULL marathon. Crazy I know especially for those of you who know me. I am not the smallest person in the world, but I know with the right training and a strong drive to be healthy and less overweight, I can do this. Wish me luck!
