Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! It has been a long week. I feel like we are never home in the evenings until after 8, which is rough when you've got a 1 year old. Monday night we were home, Tuesday we had a Pampered Chef party (Love that stuff!!), Wednesday I had a haircut after work and then we had someone coming out to look at the car at 7 and tonight we went out to dinner for my grandpa's birthday. Whew. I worked last weekend at my p/t job and this weekend we have no plans except for a party Saturday night. I am so looking forward to relaxing and just hanging out w/ G and E.
I was just reading my fav blog sugarandice@blogspot.com and Chas, the girl who writes the blog, asked her readers to ask her questions... any question they want answered... I thought that was an interesting idea. So, if anyone reading would like to know anything about me, G or E... just ask.
We just made our first purchase ever on ebay! We bought a hiking backpack carrier. It is way cool! We were looking online for one at REI, Dicks sporting goods and other sport stores and the cost anywhere from $140-$200 and we thought that was crazy!! So I suggested we look on Ebay and we found a great one and put in the last bid at a whopping $27. Plus we had to pay $24 for shipping, but $52 was a heck of a better deal than the prices we were seeing at other places! We got it late last week and love it. E was a bit hesitant at first but now I think she thinks its pretty cool to be up so high and see everything.
Have any of you ever seen the anti-smoking commercial w/ the guy w/ the dreads on it? There is always a sign somewhere in the commercial that says whatthefxup. The campain is actually called WHATTHEFXUP! The first time G and I saw that we looked at each other and were like, how the heck can they show that on TV????? I understand that they are working for a good cause, to end smoking. But any 6 year old can phonetically say that phrase... which doesn't seem ok, at least to me. I just don't get it.
Another question to our readers... what do you think about universal health care coverage? Just curious.

I will go ahead and use a question that someone used on me...or a variation of that question..."What is your WILDEST memory?"
OK...on to Universal Healthcare. If it worked it'd be great. Would it work?? I have no idea. It's a very scary concept to me. What I do know is that our current system IS NOT working.
