time for potty training?

This morning E came to me saying, "uhh ohh!" and pointing to her butt. She had pooped and knew it. She was walking all bowl legged. It was a riot. Does this meant it's almost time? I said, "ok, lets go change your diaper" and she walked right to the changing table. Wow, she continues to amaze me everyday!

Thanx for your condolences on my blog. I see that we read some of the same people :)

I think it means that she's more aware and maybe you should introduce the potty. We introduced the potty to Lila about six months ago, and she's doing alright. I bought her panties a few days ago...so we're moving along, but I'm not pressuring her.

I have been wondering this same thing. Porgie often squats down when she is pooping, so I always know that she is going poo poo. I have been thinking about sticking her on the potty when I see her squatting. But, I am just not sure I am ready for potty training.

I just realized that my little guy and your E are almost the same age. How did you find my blog?

You can certainly try...but I would say if its a ton of work the first week or two, to let it go. Ella was almost potty trained aroung 2 (VERY interested, etc) and then over night decided she didnt want to try anymore. She ended up being fully trained 2months before she turned 3 and she did it in a day or two. Its not suppose to be hard, and if they are REALLY ready, it wont be!
