So as you all know Ellie threw up yesterday (twice). During the night last night she also woke up and threw up two more times... I had LOTS of laundry to get started this morning before work! I handled the puke as a mommy does, like it's just another days work. (Remember, Greg is working the night shift right now.) You just do what you have to do. If I get it on my pj's, big deal, I just change my pj's. If I get it on my hands, big deal I just wash my hands. So tonight in the middle of dinner Ellie throws up again. Not much... maybe a tablespoon worth. It gets on her shoes, pants and sweatshirt. Greg undresses her and brings her inside to take a bath (I have another story about that next). I get her in the tub and wash her up. Next thing I know my hubby is walking with Ellie's puked on clothes to the laundry room with these on his hands...
because he "can't touch the puke because it's gross!" Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaa! I can't help but laugh my ass off. What would he have done if he would have been home alone last night while she ralphed all over 2 sets of pj's and sheets??? Somehow he gets so lucky and has NEVER been at home when she has massively puked. I am ALWAYS the one home. So not fair. Glad I could give you a laugh today.

On to the bath story. Ellie has taken a strong dislike for baths lately. We don't really understand why... but this is what it has come to... me getting in the tub with her. She thinks it's the most fun thing ever! Me? Not so much.

Are all daddies weird about germs? My husband is the same way.
Lila likes to get in the bathtub and play, but as soon as I even mention washing her hair or body she totally flips out. She cries from the start of the washing process until the bitter end.

In my defense, when you work in a jail that houses many many less than clean individuals, you learn to put on gloves for EVERYTHING!!!
