spirit like goldie hawn...?

We were grocery shopping on Thursday night and as we walked down an aisle a woman who was also shopping with her family stopped in her tracks, looked at Ellie and said, "Oh, she is beautiful, she has gorgeous hair, she has such spirit! Spirit like Goldie Hawn!" She was maybe in her mid 40's, a very sincere and kind woman. But a spirit like Goldie Hawn?? What the heck??

It was beautiful today. I don't even know what the high ended up being, but the breeze was so warm, it had to be 60 or near there. Greg has been home with bronchitis... not fun, I think we all have it, he is the only one diagnosed with it though, since he has asthma we thought it was important, Ellie and I can get better with rest and fluids. But did I sit around and relax all day like I should have?? NO. Instead I did laundry, washed rugs, washed the kitchen floor and vacuumed and cleaned out my van. I really want to kill all these germs that are invading our lives!!!!

While I cleaned the van Ellie played outside... she blew bubbles...
stood in the wind...
pretended to drive the car...
and got her first skinned knees!!
It was a beautiful day and I feel like I got something accomplished which always makes me feel good. On the agenda for tomorrow is cleaning the back entry and the dining room... I hope I'm as motivated tomorrow as I was today! Hope you are all having a great weekend :)
