* dropped Ellie off at daycare @ 7:45
* went to work
* got a phone call at 8:44 from daycare, Ellie was puking... (just great)
* told the boss lady I had to leave... seriously, I've been out between Ellie and I so much this winter I'm surprised I still have a job
* picked Ellie up
* drove home
* on the way home she puked, alot (just great) I tried to comfort her from the front seat while I was driving (we were seriously less than 2 miles from home) but my sweet girl was only worried about one thing, she kept saying "B dirty!!" (B is her blankey and she had barfed all over it)
* got home, practically undressed her in the driveway (ok, not really, but almost)
* started a load of laundry
* cleaned up Ellie and put her in daddy's chair to watch Dora
* pulled, stretched, unhooked and swore until I could get the damn car seat out of the van
* pulled, stretched, unhooked and swore until I could get the damn coverings off the carseat
* got puke all over myself
* tried not to puke
* finally got the car seat apart
* used a toothbrush to clean all the buckles and belts on the car seat
* used a toothbrush to clean Ellie's crocks
* started a second load of laundry
* changed my clothes
* cuddled with Ellie for a little while
* read Ellie 2 books
* put Ellie down for a nap
* ate 2 pieces of toast
* am now watching the news
* wow, being a mommy is LOTS of work
I really hope my afternoon goes better than my morning...

We had a much better afternoon. Ellie didn't puke anymore. (thank you god!) She kept down applesauce and toast for lunch. Chicken and tater tots for dinner. She has recently started hating her bath... and when I started to fill the tub tonight she got so upset and started gagging so I let the water out of the tub, cause I though she was going to puke again! So, yeah... I sent my almost 2 year old to bed with dried puke in her hair. Where's my mom of the year award, huh? We'll try for a bath again tomorrow night. No biggy since she is banned from daycare again tomorrow due to the puking today... so she'll be home with my dad in the a.m. and Greg in the afternoon so I can go to work. Have I ever told you I have the best dad ever? Cause I do. Thanks dad. Love ya.

Bless you heart! Hope Ellie is feeling better soon, and that you don't get what she has!
I am sorry to hear that your baby is sick again. You guys have had the worst luck with colds this winter.
Poor Ellie! I'm so glad she's feeling much better!!
