Wow, another weeks gone by with no postings! Do I have any readers still out there??? We've had a very busy week as I mentioned in my last post. Monday Ellie and I went to my mom's Lia Sophia jewelry party. We then came home and I baked a cake for Ellie to take to daycare on Tuesday for her birthday.

Tuesday I had to get up early for a meeting with our advisor on our business venture. We met before work... ugh... to early for me. Then after work Ellie and I got a Subway and headed home. Greg had to work overnights that night. My sister came out to the house and we sat for hours writing our business plan. Thank god that is DONE! One more thing our to do list!

Wednesday evening we had Ellie's birthday party at my parents house. We had a great turnout and a really fun night. Here are a few pics...

My little Ellie, you are such a sweetie. You are so full of energy. You make me laugh everyday. You have beautiful blue eyes, soft blond hair and a giggle that makes my heart want to explode! You are saying and doing new things everyday. Just the other day when we left the house in the morning on our way to Sherry's, we came up over the hill where the sun shone brightly into the van and at the top of your lungs you yelled "cockadoodledoooooooooooo". You are able to count to 14 and can say the alphabet like this... "a b c d e f g h l m n o p w x z, now I know abc's next time with me". We sing twinkle twinkle little star almost every night... you LOVE to have your sippy cup of orange juice every morning, you love having books read to you, you love your blankey and still suck your thumb, you hate to wear any shoes except for your green crocks, you love going to daycare and learn so much there every day, you are such a good eater some of your favorite things are chicken nuggets, cantaloupe, strawberries, puff popcorn, ketchup with anything, citrus juice from Schwans, milk, pizza and jack cheddar cheeze-its. We have a girly day almost every Saturday and paint our toenails. You are so patient you actually sit there until your toes dry. You have definitely been having an independent streak. You want to do everything "self" as you put it. Everything from walking up and down the stairs, putting on your socks and shoes, buckling yourself into your car seat, zipping up your sweatshirt (although you can't quite figure this one out yet), and feeding the cats. You are in **LOVE** with Dora. It is Dora everything lately. Shoes, pj's, games, movies, etc... While I've had about enough of Dora, I realize she is helping you learn many many new things with her quiz's, counting and Spanish on her show. You love your papa and gramma. Every time we drive into town you say, "papa's house?" wondering if we are going to go there... lately you've been very interested in who's driving and riding in our car. You would love to drive if I'd let you. Sometimes daddy will let you sit on his lap and drive to the mail box (our mailboxes are all at the end of our road)... you love to be doing anything outside. From the moment you wake up in the morning you are asking me for your coat and if we can go outside. You are such a strong-willed little girl. You know what you want and how to get it. Your mommy and daddy are to soft sometimes. Or we just want to quiet you for the moment so we give in. Last night at the grocery store I finally learned how to get you to cooperate with me while grocery shopping... I let you sit in the big part of the cart and eat the powdered sugar donut holes we were buying... (you didn't really eat them, mostly licked them!) yes, it was quite a mess, but it kept you quiet and happy while I shopped... which was nice for a change! You love to give hugs and are always asking for a "big hug". And the sweetest thing you say to me every day is "wuv woo". Every morning I get to wake up to this beautiful face staring back at me. I am one lucky mommy. I love you my little Ellie belly.
