E and G are both puking. Not fun for me. A sick child is bad enough. Add a sick husband to that and life can be hell. I am currently put out on the couch. I do not want to be upstairs breathing in all the flu bugs in the air. Ewwwww...
I have already called in sick for work tomorrow. Can't take E to daycare, can't leave her home with G. Yippee! A day at home with a sick child and a sick hubby, what can be better than that?!
She hadn't puked at all yesterday. I though she was feeling fine. I followed the daycare rules and made sure she hadn't thrown up in the last 24 hours and sent her today. Now I feel horrible. Is it my responsibility to call daycare and tell them that E is sick? So SD can inform the other parents? Or do I just keep my mouth shut and see if anyone else gets sick? I feel confused... what to do? I don't want anyone to be mad at me and think I caused their kid to get sick. E isn't scheduled to go back until Thursday so I hope she is feeling better by then.
I'll take any advice you can give me! I'm only one day into this daycare thing! Help!
Luckily I am feeling ok right now. I will be OCD with washing my hands tonight and tomorrow. I even pulled the hand sanitizer out of my purse and will be lathering up with that frequently! I do not want to get sick. Yuck.
Well, it is after 10 and I need to get to bed in case I am rang in the middle of the night.
P.S. we had a wonderful first day at daycare! I broke down a bit when I dropped her off, but she was off in a flash to the little tykes boat and was driving away. Didn't even give me the time of day when I said bye through my tears. Which I am so happy about! It would be so much harder if she was crying for me when I left. Instead she cried when I came to take her home. She didn't want to leave. How awesome is that?!?!?!?! I love it :).
Night all.

Yippee for you! Nothing like a sick family.
I would tell SD...Just make sure she knows it has been 24 hours...keep an extra eye on her and IF ANY FEVER OR BARFING OCCURS she can call you right away! Kids get sick all the time and spread shit at daycare. Runny noses and diapers does that! K did get sick a bit more the first year of daycare, but I truly think it helped build up her immunity...HELL the first year I taught I was sick all the time...now I barely get a cold!
GOTTA ASK...who is the bigger baby G or E???
GOOD LUCK!
I would tell SD as well. Just for an fyi to let other parents know that maybe they should keep an eye on their children cuz somethings going around. Not much else you can do, but because I have a child in daycare, I would want to know if someone else there was sick and my baby might be as well. Take care and feel better! T and little H
I hope they both felt better today!
