and NOW guess what?

Just when I thought there could be nothing worse than a sick child and a sick hubby, I was proven wrong. I got sick too. 3 sick people in one family. All at home. And one of those 3 people is a 1 year old who cannot take care of herself.

I woke up the next morning, after being put out on the couch, sick as can be. From about 6 am to 1 pm, I thought I might not live to see today. I don't recall EVER being so sick. I could have just slept on the bathroom floor since I was using the toilet every 10 minutes... but since I had to share with my sick hubby, that wasn't an option. So I ran from the couch to the bathroom about every 10 minutes for most of the morning. *TMI ahead* if you are easily offended skip to the next paragraph! I would run to the toilet, do my business then have to turn around and puke in the bathtub. I refused to puke where I had just taken a shit. Totally gross. But that was my morning.

G was sick still to. His started the night before at bowling. You know he's sick when he has to come home early from bowling. He seems to be feeling a bit better than me. He actually had the energy to feed and change E all day yesterday, while I did absolutely none of that. I LOVE him so much for that! He even waited on me, bringing me juice when I asked for it! He is such a goodh hubby and daddy. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky?? I could barely walk. I was so dehydrated that my legs and feet would cramp up each time I tried to get up. I was also so light headed I almost passed out a couple times.

This morning I am feeling a bit better. I still feel kinda spaced out and my back is really hurting. Probably from throwing up for hours. I really hope I can go back to work tomorrow though. Work is way more fun than this!

That's all for now... hope you are all feeling better than us. I wouldn't wish this nasty flu on my worst enemy!

Take care.

Rest and fluids...that is the key. Hopefully you can take turns taking care of E so the other can rest. Dont worry...you will make it through this. It is a aweful thing but in a day or so you will be better. Just stay home and lay low until you know you are better so you dont relapse...or infect others:)

And to think...I was reading this while trying to figure out what to make for supper. So much for that!

Glad you are feeling better!
