our weekend

What a nice weekend we've had so far. Friday night we left E at daycare and went out to dinner to our fav little bar/burger joint Andy's. They have the yummiest chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Seriously I could eat it every day it is that good. They also have this honey-mayo dipping sauce for you fries that is to die for. So yummy!! Greg had his usual half lb burger with cheese and bacon. It was delish. After dinner we went to the Jimmy (a bar in a fancy smancy hotel here in town). We each had our usual glass of shiraz. Listened to some music (they have a live band on Friday nights) and relaxed. It was so nice to be in a grown-up place with my hubby with no kids around. An older gentleman that G works with was there with his lady friend and they bought us each a drink. We thanked them and decided we should offer them one but when the waiter came around he said that Gene wanted to buy us another drink! By that time we were heading out so we declined and they had also already gotten their bill so they declined our offer... but wow, that was nice. We got to go out and have a drink on someone else! And this place isn't cheap by any means. Out 2 glasses of wine were $16. G had a second glass of wine and I had a hot kaluah coffee drink with whipped cream and shredded chocolate on top. Yum!

We headed out about 9, went to wally world to pick up a few groceries. We got to daycare a little before 10 to pick up E. The little terd was awake! She hadn't gone to sleep at all! She was in such a haze it was hilarious. We gave the girl $20 (a little more than was required, but she is prego and I really like her and want to help her as much as we can) and took our little dazed and confused girl home. She slept until 8 the next morning which was super nice!

Then on Saturday morning we woke up and went into town. G and E dropped me off for my massage... which was WONDERFUL btw! I loved it. I want one every week! Not gonna happen though. They went to the park and took tons of pics... which you can see on G's blog. Then they picked me up and we went to Ar.by's for lunch with my parents. What the hell though, Ar.by's is super expensive. We spent almost $19 on lunch for the 3 of us!?!?!? To much for fast food if you ask me. After lunch we headed back to the park so E could see the ducks and so we could see the beautiful eagles. We then headed home for the afternoon.

It is now Sunday morning and I am relaxing with E, watching Op.rah while G is sleeping... he has a mixed up sleep schedule when he is on nights...

Sounds like a fun weekend. We were busy with soft ball practice and Conner's birthday party. Good times.

I'm glad your date was better this time!

You must be getting the wrong things at Arbys! It's not one of my favorite fast food places, but they do have that 5 for $5.95 deal, which is pretty good.

Your night out sounds perfect!! Where did you get your massage? I wonder if they do prenatal. I love Arby's ...we went there in RW while K had gymnastics last Tuesday and it was almost 20 bucks for 2 of us!!!! Of course I wanted some extras...but I agree with you WAY OVER PRICED! We should have got the 5 for 5.95 like Chas said!

You guys are busy! I can never seem to make it out of the house anymore. I have intentions of leaving, but I never actually make it out the door.
